On Thursday July 11th at 8:00 pm, during the Festival dei Due Mondi, the Young Talents Orchestra EY will perform a benefit concert for the Serpahic Institute of Assisi in the Roman Theater in Spoleto. The Young Talents Orchestra EY, an initiative of Earst and Young, is composed of 50 talented young musicians between 17 – 28 years old and is directed by Maestro Carlo Rizzari.
Given our strong bond with the Institute in Assisi, the Valter Baldaccini Foundation has decided to support this initiative. The proceeds will be used to expand the clinic specializing in the clinical-therapeutic-rehabilitative care of its young guests.
And we are even happier that other important private social organizations that are joining us in supporting this event organized by the EY Italia Foundation: the Brunello and Federica Cucinelli Foundation the Carla Fendi Foundation, the Luca&Katia Tomassini Foundation and the Ricci Foundation.
It will be a beautiful evening, and the Young Talents Orchestra will open the concert with one of the premier masterpieces of classical music, the Concerto in D Major Opus 35 for Violin and Orchestra by P.I. Čajkovskij, which captivated moviegoers in the final sequence of Radu Mihăileanu’s film.
From beginning to end, the common thread of the evening’s program will be musical soundtracks. The second part will be dedicated to some of the most famous Italian and foreign films Life is Beautiful, Titanic, Tea in the Desert, Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones, and many others.
Tickets for the evening are available on the Festival website. See you there!
