What are the effects and problems that we have already encountered and what will be the future consequences of the pandemic in our lives?
Perhaps instinctively we immediately think about the medical health aspects and the difficulties that we experience every day due to social distancing, but there is another very important, often silent, question. It concerns the repercussions that the pandemic is having and will have on our relationships, our daily activities, our relationships, our leisure activities. There are also the effects it is having on our work relationships and its effects on many things we do which are governed by contracts.
This complexity is faced with a legislative vacuum that Dr. Francesca Scordamaglia is investigating, with a specific focus on our territory, in the research "The repercussions of the health emergency linked to COVID-19 in the matter of contracts and obligations: interventions regulations and guidelines of the jurisprudence of the Umbrian courts”, coordinated by Professor Andrea Orestano of the Department of Law of the University of Perugia.
The study, which began on 1 October 2021, will last 12 months and is co-financed by the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, the University of Perugia and the Perugia Cassa di Risparmio Foundation.
At the end of 2022, the results of the research are expected to be returned.
It is not the first time that the Valter Baldaccini Foundation has supported a research project. Indeed, it has previously supported the Seraphic of Assisi where the object investigated was different but with a common goal: to conduct a study that will help construct a future that will improve everyone’s quality of life.
