UMBRAGROUP's MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) team, during the end-of-year dinner, organized a fundraiser to be allocated to the distance support project in Burkina Faso as they did last year.
€450 was raised that will allow Leonel, Gisele and Marcel, three young students we follow, to attend school for a year.
The distance support educational project in Burkina Faso allows 24 children and young people to have access to education every year. But not only that. Attending school for each of them means having at least one hot meal a day, because most of them come from very poor families, fleeing fromterrorism, violence, and destruction.
When Valter Baldaccini visited this country he was particularly impressed, so much so that he immediately made himself available to the Congregation of the Apostle Sisters of the Sacred Heart and their missions in Burkina Faso. Thanks to UMBRAGROUP’ entire MRO team for its generosity and for giving concrete help to these kids. This gesture provides continuity to Valter's dream!
