In the new issue of "From the roots", the Foundation’s bi-annual newsletter, we highlight two innovative initiatives, aimed at the social redemption of women in Ukraine and Burkina Faso. These are two international projects that focus on the job placement and training of women.
In Burkina Faso, we are building a chicken coop which will be entirely managed by a group of women. This project builds on what we have already experienced in Kenya, demonstrating that creating job opportunities can significantly transform women's lives. And in Burkina Faso, having a chicken coop takes on even greater value, as it guarantees a certain source of livelihood.
At the same time, we are implementing a major project in Ukraine, a country where war is having a devastating impact. Despite the difficulties, we managed to establish cooperation with the Lviv Polytechnic University and implement a project with donations. Our goal has been to launch a socio-educational project that offers training to women who have been forced to flee the areas most affected by the conflict and who now find themselves in the need to rebuild their lives.
We are eager to share the details of these initiatives. We invite you to read the latest issue of "From the roots" to find out more about the two projects in Ukraine and Burkina Faso.
