“TMA Prendimi per mano” is an Umbrian association that takes care of children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
This type of disorder manifests itself in the early stages of growth and includes different types of difficulties: intellectual disability, communication disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit or hyperactivity disorder, specific learning disorders and movement disorders.
One of the objectives of this association is to accompany and support parents in developing a life plan that considers both the difficulties and the resources deriving from having a child with a disability.
TMA offers a support network to families, children, and young people. It promotes a series of recreational and play activities which develop inclusion, aggregation, and personal growth. There are also activities in the swimming pool, at the summer camp, at the winter camp and outings in socially stimulating contexts.
Some of these initiatives could no longer be carried out independently by the association, but thanks to the social project created together with the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, they will be able to continue.
“We are happy to have started a collaboration with “TMA Prendimi per mano” which supports families with autistic girls and boys - commented our President Beatrice Baldaccini during the moment of thanks organized by the association -. Being able to contribute to creating moments of socialization and exchange and support families in the daily management of certain problems, will certainly help the children live a full life”.
The support for the TMA association was only possible thanks to the many donors who choose to walk alongside us every day. The smiles of these children and boys are for all of you.
